This should be enough to completely get rid of the age spots. Apple cider vinegar is very similar to lemon juice and it is also applied directly to the skin to cure age spots.

Castor oil treatment is a home remedy that is among the ones which will take you the shortest time to get rid of the age spots. You will be required to rub it on the spots every morning and evening for about a month.

Apart from home remedies, there are many other treatment methods which actually take you a shorter time to get rid of the age spots. Among the cheapest in these is the use of bleaching creams. Hydroquinone is an example of a bleaching cream that is very effective in eliminating age spots on fair skin. It is however not advisable to use it on dark skin.

Other effective treatment options include cryotherapy, laser therapy and dermabrasion.
